However if you plan on using the secured folder in the future you can, just follow the steps the same way how you initially created your first secured folder.įor those stuck on the loading screen when you press 'reset' password just follow the steps above and you should be good. But if you do plan on uninstalling the secure folder, I highly suggest you move everything you need out of it. If you want to uninstall the secure folder it will give you the option to do that once you are in your secure folder settings (it should be somewhere towards the bottom if you scroll down). You can then sign into your secured folder with the new password and everything that was in there the last time you used it should still be there. It should prompt you to sign into your Samsung account and then take you to the settings for secured folder in which you can create and change the password. Once you cleared them out, go out of the storage and scroll back up and press on secure folder settings. You can try going into your Samsung account to change your Samsung account password and then if you go into your settings, then go to apps, scroll or search secured folder, then scroll down to storage and clear the data and cache.
